TUESDAY:
SHOWER AND CLEANING SUPPLIES, 20â30 MINUTES
For the shower, categorizing and condensing are the keys. To get started, take everything out of the shower and start to make categories. I am willing to bet you have two bottles of the same product. Combine the contents into one bottle and discard the empty one. While I value that last ounce, I value space more. Some showers can be very tight, and the last thing you want is to be bumping into things as the soapy water runs down your face. That is not a good way to get your day started. It will also be a rough start when you accidentally use body wash on your hair instead of shampoo.
Line the items up in order of use when returning everything back to the shower, and stick with the essentials: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razor, shaving cream, face wash. Donât overload yourself with options. If there are times when you prefer to use curly versus regular shampoo and have space to keep both of those items in the shower, fantastic. However, if you have a small shower, donât hang on to items that rarely get used. The majority of us have extra time on the weekends to get crazy and grab the curly shampoo if so desired, but those are valuable minutes during the week.
Once the shower is looking great, letâs move on to the cleaning supplies. Bathrooms are not super spacious rooms, whether you live in an apartment or a house. With that said, keep in the bathroom only the cleaning supplies you use there. You do not need to store the bleach in the bathroom unless you have a specific reason to use it there. Keep your cleaning supplies categorized so when you quickly need to grab the toilet cleaner, you can do so. Keep only one of each cleaning product as wellâany excess items can go into your overstock area.
